Spectacular display of abuse brought to you courtesy of British Greyhound racing.
Tonight hundreds of public and private firework displays will held across the country but despite this – greyhound race meetings will go ahead as planned to preserve bookmakers profits.

Those tracks that should hang their heads in shame are Henlow – Hove – Monmore -Newcastle and Sittingbourne.

Two years ago we captured distressing scenes of a 2 year old puppy being forced to perform while a firework display took place just yards from the track.

Please also spare a thought for the thousands of greyhounds confined in isolation at ‘trainers’ kennels with no human supervision overnight – a situation condoned by the Greyhound Board of Great Britain and well within the rules of racing.
