THE STRUCTURE OF THE
GREYHOUND RACING INDUSTRY

Above is the existing structure of the greyhound racing industry, which outlines the responsibilities of each organisation. As recommended by the Donoghue Report, the present structure is due to change in the very near future. The new body to replace the existing BGRF, NGRC and BGRB will be called the Greyhound Board of Great Britain.
Please click on the Main Menu to find out how each of these organisations deals with their ‘responsibilities’.
*UPDATE*
We are now in our fourth month of 2009 and not surprisingly the industry's promoters have enjoyed a fully functional website since the beginning of January.
The GBGB have ignored repeated requests from Greyt Exploitations for a date when the regulator's website will be published and also confirmation of any disciplinary hearings which may or may not have been held since autumn 2008.
Until such a time as the regulator's website is published or we receive a reply from the GBGB, we are unable to confirm and update the 'new' structure of the racing industry.
Is this the lack of transparency we can now expect from the industry?
