On October 26th 2010 – Rayvin Giovanni a 2 year old black boy and rising star – broke his leg in the Wimbledon St Ledger.

Having earlier won the William Hill puppy Derby and 7 of his 11 previous races – Rayvin Giovanni was afforded extensive veterinary treatment in order to prepare him for the ‘breeding paddocks’ at the Droopy’s Stud farm in Ireland.

Just 5 weeks after breaking his leg – he was paraded and advertised on Sky TV as ‘standing at stud with Sean and Michael Dunphy’ while the Sky reporter is keen to point out that the dog is ‘well cared for’ and well looked after by Seamus and Teresa Chaill.

Having commanded a stud fee of €500 and served 29 females – producing 143 puppies – Rayvin Giovanni is rewarded for his services as a racing dog and as a stud dog by being exported to a life of slavery and certain death in CHINA!
