On Tuesday May 16th Calzaghe Costa was seen to be fearful and scared as he was forcibly pushed into the traps.
Causing unnecessary suffering is an offence under the Animal Welfare Act – an Act that no one enforces as regards racing greyhounds – but this is deemed perfectly acceptable under the GBGB’s Rules of Racing.
